How do I obtain a Learner's License?

Requirements:

 Candidate must be at least 18 years and above by age at the time of applying for learner license.

• Medical certificate signed by an authorized Doctor
• A copy of Citizen ID card (Produce original for verification)
• 1 number  recent Passport size photograph
• Fill up an application form.
• Should undergo a refresher course. (For schedule,please contact respective RSTA offices)
• A learner fee of Nu.120/- only. 

What is the validity of learner's license?

 Learner License is valid for only a Year. Upon   expiry, please renew it from the nearest RSTA office.A person wishing to sit  for the driving test can do so after maturity of six months  of Learner License from the issue date and after reachin 18 years of age.

How long will it take for me to obtain  a learner's license?

Provided all required documents are submitted,the Learner License  can  be obtained on the same day.

From where can I obtain the Learner's License?

You can obtain it from any of the 4 Regional and 19 Base offices of RSTA.
