How to apply for endorsement or Variation of Driving License?

It’s getting additional drive types, in your present driving license. You need not apply for learner, again.

Requirements:

• Submit a copy of the driving license (Produce original for verification).
• Must be 21 years by age for Medium vehicle endorsement.
• At least 6 months driving under the present driving license for endorsement of TW and LV.
• At least 3 years driving under the present driving license of LV for endorsement of Medium and Heavy drive type.
• Must under go practical driving test and obtain results.
• Fill up application form(to notify if there are any changes in biodata).  
• 1 number recent  Passport size photograph.  

The old driving license must be surrendered after obtaining the new driving license.

How do i convert driving license issued from other countries to Bhutan  Driving License?

Requirements:

• Candidate should be atleast 18 years by age.
• Copy of the driving license and produce original for verification.
• Copy of  CID card/passport/residential permit and produce original for verification.

Note:Bhutanese nationals holding such driving license may be asked to sit for the driving test.
