Eligibility: Only the owner of a vehicle can apply for the registration of a vehicle in his/her name. Registration of motor vehicle can be done only in the name of a  person or in a name of a company incorporated under the Companies Act  of the Kingdom of Bhutan.

Caution! An application for vehicle registration must be completed within 15 days of taking delivery of vehicle from the Custom Authority or the authorized dealer. There is a penalty for exceeding 15 days at amount  of 100/Nu. per  day.
