Emission and Fitness Test

When is the Motor Vehicle Roadworthiness(Fitness) test conducted?

  • Private Vehicles:Fitness will be done on annual basis on the same day of the renewal of registration certificate.
  • Commercial Vehicles(Buses,Taxis and Trucks):Fitness is cunducted on  a half yearly basis.

Are there any exemptions?

  • Motor vehicle fitness is exempt for Power Tillers and Earth Moving equipment. 

What are the requirements?

  • Motor Vehicle documents(valid Registration certificate,Insurance,Current fitness card,Emission certificate)
  • Produce the vehicle for physical inspection.
  • and Pay the fees. 

Which agents are the authorised to conduct the Emission tests?

  • Yangki Automobiles and USD Enterprise.
