Sharing Roads

The road should serve its purpose- its for the vehicle and not for the pedestrians. Drivers and pedestrians are both responsible for traffic safety.A simple rule is that drivers should always be prepared to yeild the right-of way  to pedestrians. At the same time pedestrians must also yeild the right-of-way to drivers by obeying traffic signals, and using zebra-crossing.

Crossing a Road
When crossing at any place  other   than marked, pedestrians must give right-of-way to drivers.Don't use round about for crossing.Pedestrians must not walk on roads unless there is no sidewalk.Under this conditions ,pedestrians should always walk as close to the outside edge of the road as possible in a single line.

Hitchhiking
Hitchhiking is standing on the road way to ask for a ride which is illegal. It disturbs the normal traffic flow.

Solociting
Solociting means to ask for something.Pedestrians should not stand on the highway or next to highway to talk with drivers or passengers.
