The Human Resource Division, Ministry of Information & Communications  re-announce the following vacancy for the post of Security Guard (also as sweeper) each at Base Office, RSTA Trashigang and Wangdiphodrang.

Highway Inspection along Thimphu-P/ling

RSTA and police conducts joint Highway inspection and on-road awareness program along Thimphu-Phuntsholing highway. The following  Parameters are covered during the inspection:

1. Registration Certificate validity

2. Road Worthiness Certificate

3. Loading capacity

4. Trash bags on commercial vehicles

5. Waste management on roads.

Road Blocks Cleared

Road Blocks along Wangdue-Tsirang, Tsirang-Dagana, Trongsa-Zhemgang and Wangdue-Trongsa route has been cleared and is open to traffic, However all travelers are advised to be alert due to un stable site/road condition, shooting boulders and landslides.

Several Road Blocks Reported

Several road blocks reported  on Dagana -Thimphu and Tsirang-Thimphu highway. Clearing works would take time as reported by RSTA Tsirang and Dagana due to multiple block sites which has made difficult for officials to reach the other sides. Travelers are requested to note and be alert for safety.

Age Limit Raised for Taxi drivers

Age limit for taxi drivers has been raised to 65 years from 60 years. However, after 60, individual taxi drivers shall have to produce medical certificate every year for renewal.
